Practical Guidance

SQUAD GAME

Multiple Accounts

  • There exist multiple gameplay opportunities exclusive to people that use multiple accounts, in some areas it offers an advantage over traditional gameplay methods, whilst in other areas it falls short.

  • There exist multiple methods of utilizing multiple accounts for squad, the simplest of which is running two accounts on two computers. A method with additional security is to use two Nvidia Geforce Now accounts to run two Steam accounts that have not been logged on together on the same computer before. This prevents servers from being able to detect the use of multiple accounts by the same person in most occasions.

Ethical Guidance

Engaging in activities that are heavily discouraged will not result in a definite removal from communities, provided that it does not reflect negatively on KRIR as a whole. However, there is the possibility of consequences.

  • The usage of slurs is highly discouraged due to the view that the wider society has on it. It can lead to heavy reputational damage to our organization.

  • Discrimination based on factors that one is unable to control is heavily discouraged. Members are encouraged to stay away from discriminant factors that wider society deem unacceptable as discriminant factors.

  • Members are heavily discouraged from taking traceable actions against other communities and individuals. If there is a need to take action, it is encouraged for members to carefully plan the course of action that would maximize damage and minimize risk to the member and KRIR.

    • KRIR will support the actions of the member if the action taken by the member is a reaction to an offensive action against the member and KRIR as a whole.

  • [Squad Specific] Multiple accounts should not be used to gain intelligence from the other team; this behavior will be thereafter referred to as ghosting. This behavior is heavily unrecommended for the vast majority of situations due to the lack of acceptance within the wider Squad community.

    • There will exist a predesignated list of servers that ghosting will be allowed on; this list can be found within the KRIR discord server.

  • As of December 2nd, 2025, members of KRIR should feel no obligation to disclose their involvement in engaging in activities related to using multiple accounts, due to steps taking by specific communities, in the following games: Squad, Foxhole, Star Citizen.

    • (Subjective decision notes: Server authorities have demonstrated an unwillingness to participate in conductive dialogue and instead use the goodwill and transparency that is presented to them to condemn us. This ungrateful behavior signals that there no longer exists any moral obligation to engage in any acts of goodwill or transparency on our side. In addition to their decisions, the conduct during the execution of their decision demonstrated their lack of civility, as such, they should not be treated as equals)

  • Members should not grief their own team, intentional blue-on-blue is generally not intended by most games and is viewed negatively from the wider community. If there is a need to exact actions against one’s own team, it is recommended that one switch to the opposing team before doing so.

  • Falsifying information in order to manipulate the movement of the team to increases the chances of success for the team is not discouraged. Doing so to the detriment of the team is discouraged. Ability is a variable that must be taken into account, and a lack of ability on average signifies that falsifying information contains more risk to the team than reward.
